So, maybe my attempt at being bold didn't really pay off. I just got a text message (can you hear me cringing?). George said that he may be going out of town this weekend. Rain check? Your thoughts? Anyone? I just responded by saying thanks. I didn't know what else to say.
I can't regret my decision to take the cookies to him, but I may not be so bold next time. At least I can kind of laugh at this whole experience and try to just have fun with it.
More importantly, I think, he did say that he really liked my cookies.
